Heavy Gear Weapons

Ok. I know several ways to do this, but I want to know how
those of you who have already put your Gears together have
put the weapons in the hands.

Have you drilled out the hands so that the whole pistol-grip
fits in, or have you cut them down and glued them to the top
of the hand? Or have you pinned them to the bicep areas?
